Lo and behold

The Internet is 40 years old. Sort of. Here's an interview on CNN with someone who was there.

The first letters typed were "l" and "o" for "logon" but it crashed before the "g." I think he was going to type "lol."

"How the party flows is totally up to you"

"In a lot of ways, you're just throwing a party with Windows 7 as an honored guest."

I love that they tell you how parties should go. For the first half hour or so, people arrive, get drinks and mingle.

How many things are wrong with this video? I'll let you make your own list.

A couple other observations... all the party videos are really hard to browse because they are in different languages and it's not always clear by the video title. Also, why not identify it as made by Microsoft?

I then took a shower in the clean water provided by a municipal water utility.

After that, I turned on the TV to one of the FCC-regulated channels to see what the National Weather Service of the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration determined the weather was going to be like, using satellites designed, built, and launched by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. (more)
