So what does everyone think of 24 so far? Anyone notice Stephen Merchant's cameo in hour one? (click for bigger version)

I can talk about this stuff because Aimee and I are finally caught up on 24. We started watching probably around June, and watched most of the Days from Netflix (and some help from Aaron).
I was starting to think they were running out of ideas (well, they probably have long ago) but the end of episode 4 changed that a little for me. They haven't done that before... yikes.

When I saw Stephen Merchant, I laughed and said, "No way, he's in this season?" But he never showed up again and I realized it was just a funny cameo. Kind of like that episode of Lost when Charlie goes to this woman's house and she's talking about her father or something and she mentions that he was now working for a paper vendor in Slough.

Yeah, I was thinking it was going to be the best season ever if Merchant was in it... but what we're left with is Morris O'Brian...
I think we should have a contest to guess how many times Chloe will scowl this season.

I think I might buy the Jack Bauer toy just for the video camera. Then I can finally start putting together my own "TV News Action Figure" toys. Soon I'll have my very own double-stabbing liveshot at 1/20th the size.
