Made in China ...really?
It's been over a month, but now I bring you,the two best Christmas presents any child anywhere could ever receive:
AVIATION
A toy that begs you to play with it is always a winner.
I'm no engineer, but I don't think landing gear is supposed to be designed like that:
And, for those kids who love bow and arrows with laser sights,
Weapon! (Special design for you!!!)
Super Funny Toys!
Uses 2 button batteries! (no it doesn't!)
Take the infrared ray!
If by "take" you mean "imaginary," then that makes sense. Kinda.
Infinite joy? Sounds great! I love an interesting toys.
(Click for a bigger picture) - That explains it all.
Thank you, Ben and Jon.

Firefox, Yahoo! mail, and Captcha
So, the last couple days I've been trying Firefox out. I've been a Safari guy ever since I got my Powerbook, but lately Safari has been acting a little slow. I'll try to load a page and it will access the hard drive for 30 seconds to a minute -- usually if I haven't used Safari or the computer for a little while.
Firefox is fast. I've been happy with it. I also love all the extensions like adblock, flashblock, bugmenot, and Forecastfox. (I'm also using the Blue Ice theme for those keeping score).
One of my 1329 email accounts is with Yahoo! mail. With their flashy new "Beta" mail (which didn't ever work with Safari but now does with Firefox) I am having to verify that I am human with a Captcha prompt.
And I'm not the only one.
It looks like if you fail the Captcha, not only does it not send your message but it erases it as well. I guess that's why they call it Beta.
Anyone else use Firefox? Have any favorite extensions?
There's also a Google browser sync extension if you want to sync Firefox between multiple computers. Cool!

Can you just hold it?
We got a few inches of snow on the ground overnight. Apparently it's enough to postpone schools, church services, births...
Junior can wait another day in there, it's okay.

Original Star Wars Trailer (just not the same without the music, huh?)
People interviewed in line for the new World of Warcraft (neeeerd!)
High schooler throws up, tosses a touchdown pass, throws up (That throw was sick!)

24...boop...beep...boop...beep
So what does everyone think of 24 so far? Anyone notice Stephen Merchant's cameo in hour one? (click for bigger version)
Here are some fun links:
24 Bingo ("Jack disobeys a direct order" "Someone dies because they don't take Jack's advice" "Jack cries" and my personal favorite, "Someone is injured in the server room")
Jack Bauer Kill Count (up to 130 it looks like! Most bloody day - Day 4, 44 people - bloodiest hour, noon to 1pm, Day 4 - 12 kills - more than all of Day 1)
Oh, AND McFarlane Toys has announced 24 ACTION FIGURES. Now I can finally have my alternate universe where Chloe decides NOT to give Jack the coordinates and/or reprogram the satellite!
I can talk about this stuff because Aimee and I are finally caught up on 24. We started watching probably around June, and watched most of the Days from Netflix (and some help from Aaron).
I was starting to think they were running out of ideas (well, they probably have long ago) but the end of episode 4 changed that a little for me. They haven't done that before... yikes.

Built Ford Tough
Gerald Ford is dead and not at the senseless age of 83 (video).
Next time you turn right on red, you can think of him.
