Here, kill some time at work:

My brother's funny music video on YouTube - As he says, If you feel like boosting my self esteem, send the link to your friends, give it a high rating, make positive comments on the page, or make a link to it on your website. If you feel like shattering my confidence, please give the video a low rating and criticize it on the message board.

Average Homeboy - Yikes. And another one by him. (video - via Chase)

New Folgers spot - Happy Mornings (video - via MetaFilter)

Canceling AOL - audio recording of guy trying to cancel AOL. Painful to listen to.

Lyrebird (video - via BoingBoing) - Australia's bird with amazing mimicry.

How'd Michael Jackson do that 45-degree lean? (video)

So, I gave in and got a Nintendo DS Lite. It's a pretty fun/innovative/nifty/clever device. So far I've been playing a lot of Brain Age. The touch-screen has been around a while in PDAs and such, but there are so many possibilities when it comes to a portable gaming device. It's fantastic for puzzles. And the fact that it has a built-in microphone that can understand your speech (most of the time) is impressive, too. It's come a long way since this guy. Let me know if you get one, we figure out some multiplayer games through the Internets.

Yeah, yeah, yeah... wedding pictures coming soon!

Irony: Listening to the recording of the guy trying to cancel his AOL account using my own AOL account, which I have no intention of keeping until they can actually bill me for it because I'm just using it temporarily until we get free high-speed internet installed in our apartment in August. Wish me luck.

You will need it.

You should record it when you call.

Dustin, I did the same thing when we moved to Lawrence. I think I spent at least 15 minutes talking to one guy to cancel my account. He kept offering more and more "special offers," and slowly lowered the monthly price of the account. The lowest was (I think) about $4.95 per month. I was tempted to keep him on the line until it was free, and then still cancel.
