It's been a little while since the last update, but Aimee and I have a happy announcement to make!
We decided to get rid of cable TV!
Yeah, it was a little bit of a difficult decision to make... but Mediacom charges an arm and a leg. When you're paying so much and you flip through every single channel and the best thing on is QVC's Diamonique showcase, it makes you feel even worse about paying that much.
We kept the Internet connection, but got rid of cable TV altogether. We'll see how long we can go before we hook up the antennae and watch some network TV. All I can say is hurray for Netflix.
So, I'll let you know how the cable-free life goes. The shows Aimee and I will miss most will probably be The Daily Show, Sports Center, Twins baseball, 30 Minute Meals (Aimee, anyway), and Mythbusters.
And oh yeah, we got married! So that was fun. More on that later.
