I went to a couple baseball games in the past week. The first was a Royals game with BK, Woodsie and Cody in KC. We were fully expecting the Royals to lose, but they somehow pulled out a win.
Woodsie got us free tickets (he said he "knows a guy," but with Woodsie, that probably means he "stole them from a family of four"). They were nice seats about 30 rows up behind home plate.
A good time was had by all. BK wasn't even ejected from the game.
And last night,
Aimee and I (and Aimee's friend from work) went to an iCubs game on a chilly Friday night.
The main reason we went was because Kerry Wood was pitching.
We saw him play last year when he was coming back from an injury, too. Last time he hit a triple, but he only hit a single this time around.
There were a lot of people at the game despite the cold weather. I'm not sure if they hit a record number for attendance, but it was fun seeing the place almost full.
Bigger versions of these can be found on my Flickr page.
