I just wanted to bring this to the attention of the small number of people who check out this site. So, I just watched the movie No Man's Land, a relatively little-known film about the Bosnian-Serbian war. It's a pretty serious (and tragic) movie about three soldiers trapped between enemy lines. One is actually lying on a land mine and can't move. The other two, being from opposite sides of the war, just pretty much want to kill each other. A real popcorn movie, huh? Well, you would definitely think so from the trailer:
You can find the trailer here.
Looks really fun, huh? Yeah. Not at all like the movie. But war has to look fun for the American audiences. It's not that great a movie, but at least they don't have to resort to totally distorting the film in the trailer... just listen to the trailer guy's narration and music and tell me what you think.
