As I was at *BLEEP* today working the cash register, doing a return on a 3-month ago purchased iTrip that I probably shouldn't have done (I just can't say no to about-to-yell-at-you-even-though-I'm-wrong customers), as a teenage girl hands me a small black Spencer's bag.

Me: Thanks.
I put the bag on the counter behind me.
After the return, I talk things over with the assistant manager and another employee: The A.M. tells me he probably done the return differently, but oh well. Then he takes a look at the bag on the counter.

AM (looks in bag): Looks like garbage. (puts it in the pull-out garbage bin)
He goes in back room. Moments later.

Girl: Have you seen a Spencer's bag anywhere?

Me: Uh... yeah....
I pull open the trash (she's not tall enough to see in).
Me (pulling it out of the trash): I think we've got it in our lost and found here....(hand it to her)
Girl: Thanks. (walks off)
Other employee and I burst into the back laughing our heads off.
All in a day's work.
